As part of the Elite*Emergency (ED) Nursing Float Pool*, Registered Nurses deliver professional nursing care to all patients presenting to the Emergency Department (ED) providing holistic, individualized patient care in response to emergent, identified needs. Follows the Board of Nursing’s (BON) Standards of Nursing Practice utilizing the nursing process in care delivery. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with Emergency Nurse Association (ENA) standards; the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Medical City Healthcare.

*_Education / License / Certifications:_*
* BSN required within 24 months of hire
* Current Texas RN License
* Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association required
* Professional Nursing Organization Membership strongly encouraged.
* Certification in area of specialty preferred.

* Minimum two (2) years’ experience within an acute care hospital with a minimum of one (1) year in the Emergency Room required.
