Mission Assurance Specialist
Key Role:
Provide non-personal professional services for an Army client to assist with the planning and coordination activities of a team conducting protection program higher headquarters assessments at Army installations. Conduct pre-assessment work, including data gathering, research, and coordination and execute or assist with documenting and reporting the findings of installation assessments as part of a team. Use various automated tools, databases, and other software programs to support assessment activities, prepare observations and recommendations for installation leadership and staff, assist team with leading to prepare briefing materials, and collaborating with active duty and civil service government staff and counterparts across Army organizations and other government agencies, as required. Perform work in program areas, including threat actor options, physical security, structural and infrastructure engineering, emergency management, and information operations with an emphasis on threat actor options. This position is located in San Antonio, TX.
Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in an anti-threat, law enforcement, or physical security role in DoD organizations
-Knowledge of DoD risk management concepts in a mission assurance environment
-Ability to show expertise in leadership, show initiative, and work without full-time direct supervision
-Ability to work extended hours outdoors in sometimes austere conditions
-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with intelligence analysis for a DoD organization
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Completion of additional training, including DoD Mobile Training Teams (MTT), DoD Security Engineering Course, or IT Security training or Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
