JOB SUMMARY
* Plans monthly menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines required for small children.
Prepares fresh, nutritious hot meals and snacks per the posted menus.
* Orders, shops and inventories all kitchen items.
* Ensures that all state and local health department, licensing, safety and nutritional requirements are met.
* Accepts temporary assignments within the childcare center.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS ·
-Maintains a Food Service Manager Certification as required by Harris County Health Department
- Must require a valid TX state driver's license and a clean driving record to drive school van to the store and a mini school bus on school pick-ups .
- Must clear all satisfactory background checks from Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and DPS.
