# Job Description
The Project Manager- Retail interfaces with individuals and groups that may be involved with a project installation. In this role you may be tasked with providing support to associates in deployment operations for retail and ; training and process direction to new associates; for project related deliverables and communications; customer satisfaction during the project; and maintaining updated and accurate project documentation In this position, the project manager - Retail will: - Typically manages Tier 2 projects and may manage Tier 3 projects - Billed work projects - Hardware installation projects - Internal infrastructure projects - Services projects (Integrated Services, Managed Services, OpteView, and Professional Services) - Serves as help chain for PCs, PSs, and APMs - Serves as first point of contact and escalation for assigned projects - Accountable for completion of projects deliverables within scope, schedule, and budget - Responsible for identifying, monitoring, and responding to project risks - Responsible for maintaining project governance documentation and project dashboard status - Conducts customer calls, internal calls with the PCs/IPSs/Mfg., and status calls with project teams - Manages resources and team members to meet the project objectives - Coaches and mentors associate project managers - Support the Manager Project Manager to create and maintain up-to-date processes and procedures, ensuring that they meet best business practices - Interface with internal organizations as to the needs and demands of projects assigned
# Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration / engineering or equivalent - In individual cases, an employee can be assigned to the described function if the necessary expertise was acquired otherwise - 3-5 years experience in Project Management role - PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred - Knowledge & ability to apply best practices principles in project management environment - Highly self-motivated individual with excellent leadership, mentoring, customer relationship, facilitation and interpersonal skills - Ability to deliver complex projects and deal with difficult situations - Ability to work in a priority changing environment - Experience in writing informative documents, work instructions, and project proposals - Confident in calculating costs and margins; experience in P&L; preferable - Detailed knowledge of change management, risk management, setting up and initiating projects - Sound knowledge of the industry including customer processes and expectations - Broad technical understanding, preferably in IT - Good oral and written communicator with strong presentation skills - Must be detail oriented and organized - Team player - Good knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Visio, Adobe Acrobat
