+ Maintain quality goals in the collection, distribution, and display for data as established by the Software Systems Manager, Management Team, and COTR.
+ Collaborate with subject matter experts to select the relevant sources of information, formulate the right questions, and describe the right problems.
+ Ensure that National Office requests are processed and delivered quickly and that National Office projects receive number one priority over all other pending projects.
+ Respond to demands for the collection and display of information related to the Job Corps program. Recommend alternatives for displaying various data that would allow better and more efficient program review.
+ Ensure customer requirements and expectations are recognized and achieved.
+ Analyze and provide data reports for anomalies and report such anomalies to senior Job Corps Management.
+ Respond to all concerns derived from independent research and analysis of data. Routinely police database submissions and transactions to insure quality of data and to anticipate systematic exceptions, fraud, and abuse.
+ Respond to requests and questions regarding data included in Job Corps reports.
+ Research and complete reporting on abnormal, inconsistent, and fraudulent data.
+ Respond to requests for the preparation of statistical reports and graphs. Provide internal and external reporting as needed.
+ Provide support and assistance in all other data related functions of the data center as directed.
+ Insure that all reporting completed at request of National Office (or in reaction to other requests as assigned) is consistent with tabulating and reporting procedures that have been established by and for the data center. All reporting will be completed within guidelines for clarity, brevity, and consistency as established for each project by the Statistician.
+ Respond to Job Corps management (e.g., National and Regional Offices Senior staff) requirements for presentation of information
+ Must have at least a four-year college degree preferable in Applied Math, Statistics, computer science or a related field.
+ Must have at least two years’ experience as a statistician.
+ Must have at least two years’ experience in an environment that uses multiple data sources to produce graphical data presentations.
+ Experience with applying statistical methodology to complex data, analyzing trends, and using statistics to make forecasts and to provide projected figures.
+ Good analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented, self-motivated team player.
