Production Tech Position - FlowBelow Aero Inc (Texas)
+ The Production Technician will mostly work independently to run a production line by focusing on safely and efficiently operating and maintaining the line’s equipment.
+ Key activities include manufacturing processes, minor maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
+ The Production Operator reports to the Production Supervisor or Lead Operator at the manufacturing facility
+ Full-Time job and may require Mandatory overtime depending on business needs
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
+ · Adjust CNC controls by calling up programs and setting tool offsets (assistance available)
+ Execute changeovers on fixturing according to production needs (assistance available)
+ Clean work areas
+ Load, handle and move material and tools
+ Measure and examine extruded products for defects; check for quality conformance to specifications such as prints, shop travelers and sales orders
+ Monitor consumable tools and supplies
+ Power up/down machines used in the cell
+ Document machine operating conditions and product measurements
+ Report issues that negatively affect productivity to Production Supervisor
+ Deburr, clean and package product and move to staging area for quality control inspection
+ Performing other duties assigned by Production Supervisor
+ Flexibility to work overtime to finish daily production orders
Requirements
+ Preferred candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
+ Must be reliable
+ Proficient with reading, writing, and basic math skills relating to the job, function, or assignment
+ Ability to use precision instruments, tools, machinery, and equipment like metal cutting saws, routers, drill presses, grinders, and CNC mills
+ Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced production environment; must be physically capable of standing for a full 8-hour shift.
+ Ability to understand blueprints and component-drawings.
+ Some level of mechanical aptitude/experience – hand-tools, machinery, etc.
+ Good organizational skills- must have ability to determine priorities, manage time properly, and multi-task
+ Adherence to Safety, Quality, and other procedural requirements
+ Work closely with quality assurance, shipping personnel, and production supervisor
+ Must demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when required
+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
+ Walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, balance, crouch, or crawl.
+ Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, and controls; reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders
+ Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust focus and distinguish color.
+ Employee must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs
