Principal Civil Engineer - (2003444)

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

+ Responsible for complex civil engineering design, analysis and development including earthwork, soil stabilization, paving, drainage, and roads.

+ Work includes conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, layouts, design calculations, specification and construction document development in accordance with design codes such as NFPA, IBC, AASHTO, and ASCE.

+ Communicate complex technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineer for the Company.

+ Maintain and promote a focus on McDermott end product.

Basic Qualifications:

PhD in Environmental, or Civil Engineering 13 years' experience with civil site preparation, grading, drainage, and permitting in the Oil & Gas industry.

OR

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering 15 years' experience with civil site preparation, grading, drainage, and permitting in the Oil & Gas industry.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Professional Engineering License required

Other Details:

10% domestic and international travel to other McDermott offices or project jobsites. Current offices with potential for travel include but not limited to Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, United Kingdom, Denmark, Czech Republic, India, and Mexico. Current projects with potential for travel include but are not limited to Louisiana, Texas, and Canada
