PURPOSE:
Responsible for all aspects pertaining to Lumber & Panel Reloads utilized by the Forest Products Supply Chain including incoming shipments, outbound shipments and weekly inventory reconciliation. Provide support to Buyers and Locations that utilize these reloads. The ideal candidate will learn various corporate supply chain functions and use this position as a training ground for career growth into either Forest Products or Building Materials Procurement. This position can be a precursor or trainee for the position of Commodity Forest Products Buyer.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** :
+ Inputs purchase and transfer sales orders into various legacy ERP systems.
+ Reconcile weekly inventory for numerous Reload locations.
+ Contacts Reloads, vendors, and transportation to obtain information concerning product, price, freight, availability, and delivery time.
+ Assists buyers in tracking late shipments and determining arrival times for shipments into lumber and structural panel reloads.
+ Serves as a liaison between Reloads, Transportation, Vendors and Buyers to ensure that stores, lumber yards and component manufacturing facilities receive their inventory in a timely manner.
+ Provides replenishment and inventory reports to buyers as needed.
+ Maintain rail car log and provide notification for shipments inbound to reloads.
+ Verify and route invoicing for both inbound and outbound reload shipments
+ Reviews, evaluates and monitors purchase and transfer sales order requisitions and ensuing shipments to ensure pertinent information is accurate and pricing is correct.
+ Maintains records of purchasing and transfer sales documents.
+ Learns all aspects of corporate, central procurement function as it pertains to Forest Products and Building Materials, supporting the Corporate Commodity and Building Materials Buyers.
+ Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
+ Other duties may be assigned.

+ This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
_To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required._
+ High School diploma or GED and two (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ The ideal candidate will have a 4 year undergraduate degree in forest product management, supply chain or construction science.

+ Problem solving skills, ability to think on your feet and present solutions
+ Ability to use tack and skill in dealing with other staff, management, and vendors
+ Ability to compose effective and efficient accounting reports

+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
+ Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program.
