Registered Nurse for PACU in - NTG Groups, LLC (Texas)

We are looking for motivated and Registered Nurses to join our team.

Job Title: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN

Duties:

+ Work directly with immediate post anesthesia patients.

+ Monitor airway, cardiac rhythm, neurologic and hemodynamic status and assessment of pain.

+ Recognize signs and symptoms of malignant hyperthermia.

+ Efficiently and effectively responds to any emergency in the post anesthesia phase of the adult or pediatric patient.

+ Work with an interdisciplinary medical team.

+ Document and keep the team informed of the patient's progress.

+ Educate the patient and family on post-surgery care

Qualifications:

+ At least 1 year PACU experience required

+ Must hold an active state RN license

+ Electronic Charting experience

+ Must have an active BLS, ACLS and other needed certifications
