Responsibilities
The Solution Architect is a critical role on the CE&S BI Innovation team.
• You will bridge the gap between business problems and innovative, data-fueled technology solutions that will help accelerate our customer experience transformation
• You will come with thought leadership to champion solutions with a structured approach, having conversations with different key stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• You will architect solutions to meet business needs and ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
• Understand overall data estate, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions.
• You will collaborate with other Architects and Engineering Teams in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft data platform
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant software design and development experience
• 5+ year of success in complex technical projects, architecture, design, implementation of Big Data applications
• 5+ years of experience building solutions that impact the customer experience?
• Experience in Cloud / Azure based services including: SQL Azure, Azure Websites, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks
• Experience using Languages including: C#, .NET/ASP.net (framework and core), SQL, HTML, JavaScript
• Development tools including: Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
• Experience with Advance Analytics (prefer Azure Data Bricks, data visualization tools such as Power BI)
• Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning (prefer Azure ML or similar framework)
Preferred Qualifications:
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent software/services experience
• Passion for innovation and customer experience
• Ability to inspire by communicating complex concepts in a simple, business valued context with proven white boarding capabilities
• Preferred location Redmond; open to remote/relocation
