Summary Of Role

The individual will be a member of the Readout Integrated Circuit (ROIC) development team of DRS’ Electro Optics and Imaging Systems (EOIS) division. In this role, the Readout IC Integration Lead will work closely with other team members to develop, validate, and integrate Readout IC’s and Focal Plane Arrays (FPA). The key responsibilities are the following: Silicon validation of analog and mixed signal ROICs. Design and build test hardware required for ROIC test. Perform circuit characterization and validation in a lab environment. Drive review of yield/lab test results to fix bugs. Documentation including circuit ROIC user documentation, test reports, data analysis, and design review presentations.

Basic Qualifications and Required Skills

+ Education: BSEE

+ Experience: 5+ years in test and integration of CMOS mixed-signal and analog IC’s

+ Ability to problem solve

+ Working experience in using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other lab equipment, to validate analog designs

+ Ability to analyze data in Mathcad, MATLAB, or similar tools

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Initial silicon bring-up

+ Silicon functional validation

+ Readout IC and FPA design verification testing

+ Data analysis using MATLAB and other analysis tools and summary reporting

+ Design and manage build of test hardware including test packages, substrates, interface electronics

+ Support system integration of new Readout IC’s

+ Support development of production test programs

+ ROIC team lead for root cause investigation of system integration issues

+ ROIC team lead for wafer yield analysis and failure analysis

+ Other duties as assigned
