Contracts Management Professional - Siemens (Texas)
Siemens Logistics LLC
is seeking a proactive, solution-oriented professional Contracts Management Professional to
primarily support our Parcel Logistics and Customer Service business units,
working under the supervision of our corporate counsel. Your responsibilities will include:
+ Prepare, analyze,revise, negotiate, and actively manage a wide variety of commercial contractsand related documents, including subcontracts, project-related agreements,professional service agreements, change orders, construction contracts,proposals, NDAs, service agreements, sales agreements, etc.
+ Create, implement, andactively manage procedures and policies for contract management and changemanagement in compliance with best-practices and company directives.
+ Actively manage thefull contract lifecycle process from pre-bid to contract closeout for thebusiness units that you support.
+ Proactively identifyand analyze contractual risks and opportunities and advise relevantstakeholders regarding same.
+ Serve as the go-to subjectmatter expert and trusted advisor on all contractual-related matters for thebusiness units that you support.
+ Conduct specialprojects and other tasks as assigned.
You must be
comfortable acting independently as the primary lead for drafting, negotiating,
reviewing, and managing contracts in your area of responsibility and have
excellent written and oral communication skills, as this position involves
direct contact with all levels of our organization including our executive
management team.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Education
Must be able to:
+ Draft, analyze,redline, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and relateddocuments with a professional level of accuracy, detail, and care.
+ Create, refine, and adaptcontract management processes and procedures to specific customer requirements(internal and external).
+ Develop, implement,and actively manage the full contract lifecycle for complex contracts andprojects, including contract management processes, change management processes,and change management strategies.
+ Research, analyze, andinterpret applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and codes.
+ Identify, analyze, andinterpret contractual risks and opportunities, and create risk mitigationstrategies.
+ Demonstrate excellentwritten and verbal communications skills
+ Exhibit stronganalytical and critical thinking abilities.
+ Possess excellentpersuasion, negotiation and judgment skills.
+ Have a workingknowledge of financial analytics and profit and loss implications.
+ Possess strongleadership and collaboration skills.
Proficient knowledge
of personal computer systems and programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power
Point is required.
BS/BA required.
8-10 years of
successful experience in related field is required. Advanced degree (e.g., Juris Doctorate) MAY
be substituted for experience.
Ability
to travel is required.
