Seeking pool cleaning technician to work long-term with established in-ground pool company. Job Type: FULL TIME - YEAR ROUND Salary: $11 to $13.50 per pool – 40-60 plus pools per week Job Location: Greater Southwest / Southeast Houston Area Duties/Responsibilities Checking chemical levels Adding chemicals as necessary Skimming Brushing pool walls & tile Vacuuming Emptying baskets, bags & auto cleaner wall fittings Backwashing as scheduled Maintaining regular, accurate logs of time-in / time-out, chemical readings, chemicals added, and documenting emerging problems with the pool being serviced Quickly reporting issues with pools to the office via phone or text message Skills/Qualifications Must have at least one year of pool maintenance experience Must have an excellent customer service attitude & willingness to communicate Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a sense of integrity Must have a driver license Must provide your own truck for which gas, on company time, will be provided Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs Must be able pass a background check Must be able to work Monday through Friday - outside, rain or shine High school or equivalent education preferred but not required Certified Pool Operator or equivalent licensing preferred but not required Required language: English Benefits Competitive pay Disability, life, and liability insurance benefits Retirement benefits available Paid vacation after one year with company Phone allowance Gas provided Educational opportunities Room for advancement Job Type: Full-time Salary: $11.00 to $13.50 /hour Required experience: pool maintenance: 1 year Required license or certification: Driver's License Required language: » Apply Now Please review all application instructions before applying to Stearns Pools & Spas Inc..
