Works with Production Supervisors and or Managers to ensure PM Schedule is met within 14 day window documented in SOP.
The employee must have proven skills and knowledge of level 1 at a rating of 4 or better on the maintenance training metrics and a minimum of two blocks for level 2.
Makes necessary machinery and equipment repairs.
Replacement of NPN and PNP sensors must be able to distinguish between the two and how to install them.
Replacement of buttons and system components.
Replacement and correct wiring of motors and gear boxes.
Performs required PM’s according to PM calendar.
Informs Supervisor of operational status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas.
Follows ISO operating procedures.
Completes maintenance work orders for all maintenance work completed.
Maintains work order utilization at or above 85% for G-2 shifts and 65% for Shift mechanics.
Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.
Promotes to and adheres to all safety and health policies and procedures of the plant.
Complete all required training, including ergonomic, safety, health and environmental.
Identify and adjust workstation arrangement, work practices, and workflow to reduce risk factors
Report issues to supervisor/manager when unable to control risk factor/s.
Report symptoms of injury/illness and concerns when first noted.
Participate in incident investigation.
Use ergonomic equipment provided
Demonstrate safe work practices.
