Job Summary The Sales Representative serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction. The Sales Representative is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition the Sales Representative should build relationships with clients and encourage new and repeat business opportunities. This position is very heavily focused on hunting new business and generating new revenue for Tidal Tank. Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution and compliance on client deliverables and revenue. Meet and exceed revenue goals outlined by management This is a pure outside “Hunter” role for new customers and new business within existing customers. Any candidate that prefers being handed an existing customer base to manage should not apply for this role. Act as a leader and role model within the organization Maintains face time with clients (site visits, meetings, lunch, breakfast, dinner) Provides quotations to clients and works with customer service when submitting orders to ensure that operations has a clear understanding of clients’ needs Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the local branch manager or operations manager of any issues that may arise. Ensures that rates with customers are satisfactory and profitable Approves all invoices weekly, ensures all billing is in correct format and has correct purchase order prior to being mailed. Responsible for obtaining purchase orders for all open contracts Responsible for all collections on accounts Works closely with customer service and operations to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and or opportunities within the project. Provides regular two way communications between the client and the team to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations. Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business within current area. Networks and communicates effectively with other team members and branches of any upcoming work in other areas Attend sales meetings at the local team and management on a regular basis Responsible for entering and maintaining activity in Salesforce.com as outlined by management. Reports to the Branch Manager on a weekly basis providing information about their weekly progress with existing and new accounts as well as outlines any new and upcoming work.Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree 3 or more years of outside sales experience in the Midstream market Proven background with selling; rental services is preferred.
