This is an hourly position

Responsibilities, Duties and Job Expectations
- Full compliance with all employee safety and food safety laws, regulations and rules of Golden
Peanut & Tree Nuts and ADM.
- Process pecans through specialized color sorter machinery to further remove inner shell, outer shell
and debris while sorting the pecans by color.
- Set and program the parameters of the color sorters, monitor their output to insure proper
performance, report any operation issues to supervisor/lead person.
- Operate electric barrel dump elevator, digital analog meter and oscilloscope
- Keep pace with plant production without compromising quality, food safety or employee safety.
- Clean and sanitize work area, machinery and tools which may require the use a staircase ladder.
- Ability to work in a loud environment (with provided hearing protection) where standing is required
for the duration of the shift excluding breaks and meal time.
- Properly use all required personal protective equipment.
- Become familiar with and adhere to all employee safety and food safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Role requires 1+ years of machine operation experience.
- Must be able to push/pull barrels of pecans
- Previous experience in a food processing facility preferred.
- Understanding of manufacturing flow processes, controls and procedures
- Working knowledge of machinery and troubleshooting abilities preferred.
- Demonstrate a team player attitude
