The Department of

Cellular and Integrative Physiology in the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San

Antonio invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank

of Assistant, Associate or Professor. Individuals

holding a Ph.D. and/or MD with an outstanding record of innovative research and

academic performance, and with demonstrated expertise in areas of research that

address developmental and regulatory mechanisms in the neurophysiological and neurovascular

systems, including associated pathologies are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will receive a highly

competitive start-up package and state-of-the-art laboratory space, and will be

expected to establish and maintain a vigorous externally funded independent

research program, provide exemplary mentorship, engage in productive scientific

collaborations; and become members of our Integrated Biomedical Sciences Graduate

Training Program. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has

been identified.
