Summary:
Facebook’s Specialized Technology Recruiting Team drives global hiring of professionals across Augmented and Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence for product teams such as Oculus, Spark AR, Portal, and Facebook more broadly. The goal of this team is to create and ship new, category-defining consumer hardware and software products that are immersive, social, and define our consumer’s daily experiences. We hire experts who build and drive innovation in Hardware, Software, Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and conduct original research in our Facebook Reality Labs (FRL).As a Leadership Sourcer on our Specialized Technology Recruiting Team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the talent acquisition strategy for a variety of engineering and technical leadership roles. Your work will be instrumental in our ability to scale our business, working towards our mission to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
Required Skills:
1. Help to define, design and implement leadership recruiting programs and search engagements for a variety of technical leadership roles, including understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply
2. Partner with leadership, recruiters and hiring managers to develop a detailed profiles of target candidates with data-driven advice on the range of logical possibilities
3. Skillfully support weighing the anticipated and immediate challenges of the targeted role, company/group strategic objectives, and corresponding opportunities to productively explore more diverse perspectives and tradeoffs
4. Foster trust-based relationships with candidates, gaining a close understanding of their requirements and concerns
5. Support an exemplary candidate experience at every stage of the process
6. Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns
7. Screen resumes and assess candidates to determine appropriate next steps
8. Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
9. Proactively recommend and drive process improvements that impact candidate identification and engagement
10. Capture and maintain accurate market, client and candidate information on our knowledge management systems so as to both facilitate the search process and our overarching Market Intelligence initiatives
11. Leverage search and problem-solving expertise on a variety of Facebook Global Recruiting initiatives
12. Become a contributing member of the Recruitment Leadership team that effectively embodies and promotes the culture and values of Facebook, and lead the team to do the same
Minimum Qualifications:
13. 5 or more years of experience with recruiting
14. 3+ years of executive search research and candidate development experience within a firm or corporate environment
15. Knowledge in leadership search with technology industry and ideally with tech and non-tech profiles
16. Experience in identifying and engaging senior-level candidates
17. Experience partnering with team and clients, including senior management
18. Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams
19. Demonstrated track record of building working relationships with leaders and cross-functional partners
