Clinical Nurse Consultant - Consumables (Central US) - ICU Medical (Texas)

*Position Summary:*The Clinical Nurse Consultantprovides relevant training and consultation on ICU Medical’s clinical products/software and Professional Services programs. They participate as part of a clinically oriented, cross-functional team comprised of Nurses and Pharmacists.This includes working with regional sales representatives as well as with end users directly.

*Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*

* Project Management of Implementations (timelines, milestones, resources, finances), whilecollaborating with internal and external teams; such as Pharmacy, Nursing, IT, Project Management, Materials Management

* Demonstrate expert knowledge of products, services and clinical recommendations to positively influence the customer experience

* Assessment of clinical workflows and product compliance within multi-site systems

* Serve as lead consultant and resource to internal and external customers in multi-site and/or complex environments

* Maintain relationship with customers and ongoing support post implementation

* Assist with product complaints, troubleshoot issues and liaison with other departments as necessary

* Analysis of compliance data.Consultants must maintain the skills necessary to effectively execute on customer-centric ICU Medical clinical service programs, including using excel and other statistical tools

* Clinical participation on special projects such as R&D, and new products releases

* Mentor internal colleagues regarding best practices and changes in protocols

*Knowledge Skills and Qualification*s:

* Bachelor’s degree is required, with current US RN license

* Prior leadership role in nursing is highly desirable

* Must be self-motivated, well-organized with the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required

* Familiarity with MS Office particularly Outlook, Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of leading web-ex meetings is preferred.

*Education and Experience*

* Bachelor’s degree preferably in Nursing

* A Minimum of 4 years recent RN experience preferably in areas of oncology, trauma, ED or critical care areas

* Previous leadership role preferred

*Minimum Qualifications*

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

*Travel Requirements*

* Typically requires travel up to 70% of the time including overnight stays in a hotel

*Physical Requirements and Work Environment*

* This role requires the ability to travel frequently (sit on a plane or travel in a car up to 6 hours)

* Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

* This job operates from a remote home office and routinely uses standard office equipment
