Regional Marketing Intern - Whole Foods Market - Austin, TX
The SW Regional Marketing Intern supports the SW Regional Marketing Team in all functions related to regional marketing and community relations/PR efforts. This includes implementation of regional marketing promotions, community relations programs, and PR research and writing endeavors.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Southwest regional sharepoint organization and asset uploading Proofing/editing regional marketing materials Copywriting as needed Assist with Marketing administration tasks including paperwork, customer responses and organization of Marketing materials and equipment General blogger pitch creation and support around seasonal initiatives and region-specific programs PR research – new media contacts, items for influencer kits Event staffing as needed, Austin specific events Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 6 - 12 months Marketing and/or event planning experience Proven ability to build and maintain relationships Excellent customer service skills Solid overall communication skills with an emphasis on written communication Ability to prioritize efficiently Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
Working Conditions Repetitive stretching and lifting required (up to 40 lbs.) In an 8 hour work day: standing/walking up to 6-8 hours, sometimes on slick and/or uneven surfaces Repetitive use of hands including power grasping and fine manipulation Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, climbing and reaching Sitting and heavy computer use for extended periods of time, up to 6-8 hours Repetition of duties
