CREDIT ASSOCIATE (M F 11AM 8PM) - AutoNation - Irving, TX
The AutoNation Shared Service Center (SSC) is currently seeking a Credit Associate
The Credit Associate is responsible for answering incoming Accounts Receivable calls; making credit decisions for customer shipment issues and helping open and assign Support Desk tickets for other types of calls, distributing incoming Accounts Receivable faxes, and processing set-ups for new customer accounts. The Credit Associate will work in a fast paced environment to maintain pleasant working relationships with all customers, both internal and external.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Answer queue calls from internal dealerships to approve pending orders
o Set up and update new and existing customer accounts
o Fulfilling invoices requests from customers
o Resolve Accounts Receivable issues that come in via Support Desk calls or emails, including but not limited to invoices requests, General Ledger adjustments, application of unapplied payments, and account reconciliations
o All other duties as assigned by Management Required Experience o Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
o Understand basic accounting principles and logic
o Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills
o At least 2 years of experience in customer service environment
o Working knowledge of MS office software - MS Excel, Word, and Office
o Experience handling high volume of paperwork in multiple computer database systems
o Have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities
o Ability to work independently and as a team member in a deadline-driven environment
o Produce high quality and quantity of work while under deadline pressure
