Procurement Associate - Exxon Mobil - Houston, TX
United States Jobs - Job Responsibilities:
• Strategic planning for current and future needs.
• Sourcing and delivering materials and services at lowest life-cycle cost for all ongoing operations and capital projects, including efficient warehousing and payment processes.
• Participating in cross-functional teams to identify and execute breakthrough cost reduction and revenue enhancing initiatives.
• Executing strategies through development of regional, national and global agreements. Involves bidding, selecting suppliers, negotiating terms and signing contracts.
• Acting as Supply Chain Manager for suppliers of materials and services. Involves travel, supplier visits, interface with customers and suppliers at all levels of an organization.
• Benchmarking industry leaders and identifying and implementing internal best practices. Involves research, seminars, and training.
Job Requirements:
• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation and communication skills
• Contracting experience is preferred
