We are currently recruiting for 2 Movement Disorder Neurologists to join our established Movement Disorder Clinic in Central Texas. One position is for the Director role and the qualified individual will serve as the leader of this neurology sub-specialty area.
The other role will be hired to help meet patient access demands and to support the continuous growth of this focused sub-specialty in Central Texas.
Qualifications & Preferences:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Movement Disorders.
• Must be able to obtain a full TX medical license.
The center has over 2500 movement disorder patients and centers around a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of patients including a movement disorder specialist, licensed clinical social worker, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, research coordinator, neuropsychologists, DBS neurosurgeon, and more. The center also has a very active DBS program and botulinum toxin clinic. The position includes the option of a tenured or non-tenured faculty appointment with Texas A&M University Health Science Center and the opportunity to teach neurology residents as well as other residents and students.
