Our nursing home, based on Leander, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the team in a full-time capacity.
This is a critical position, reporting directly to an RN. The CNA will be responsible for:
Patient care - this is the number one role Receiving and offering reporting at the start and end of every shift Informing supervisor of changes in patient needs and health Responding to emergency situations per our internal standards Effectively communicating with patients, family, co-workers, and managers Performing dining room duties as-needed Assisting with light housekeeping duties like making beds and patient room clean-up
Should have full-time availability
A minimum of a high school diploma
CNA certification (we will also consider existing CNA school students to start in a more junior role and grow with the company)
Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language
Reliable transportation is necessary
Clean background check and drug screen
