P6 Scheduler - Midland, TX - Turner & Townsend plc. - Midland, TX
Responsibilities:
Access schedule information within Turner & Townsend and the market place to develop, and establish schedule benchmarking Provide schedule information to support decision and alternative selection Gather key information from Project team to establish schedule Establish milestones for project to measure progress Create Baseline schedule to measure progress against Update schedule weekly or as needed to identify progress Support ESAR and PRC review process and submit key information for review Provide input to the development of the scheduling plan Provide input to the PEP and support the development of focus areas, and detailed plans Establish schedule and monitor throughout life of the project Identify activities for schedule improvement to minimize overall schedule durations Develop schedule in line with “class” requirements Evaluate contractors schedule and provide recommendations for decision-making Provide schedule “look aheads” to keep the team in line with future happens Maintain and manage the schedule and provide regular updates on schedule slippages Provide scheduling advice to support change management process Develop and provide core information and input for gateway reviews as required
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10+ years’ project controls and time/schedule management experience. Proficient – expert experience level using project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P3, P5 and P6), Excel, PowerPoint and Pertmaster. Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions Develops good working relationships with project team Ability to travel if required
