Title: Senior Technical Program Manager & Cloud Consultant

Responsibilities:

+ Work with the Program Manager to provide thought leadership in transforming the cloud program from onboarding to cloud expansion. Communicate and align with senior management about strategic plans and roadmaps.

+ Work with the team to provide cloud resource management. Define governance processes and guidelines to support vast expansion and scaling on the cloud.

+ Collaborate with OCI as a cloud architect on various technologies including infrastructure, networking, identity management, security and others. Represent our group as a SaaS provider to negotiate with OCI on feature requirements and roadmap.

+ Work with the cloud service team to provide the required hands-on process development and project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding cloud program outcomes.

+ Support Cloud Ops engineers, SRE team, DevOps and other engineering teams to migrate services onto OCI, an open cloud platform. Serve as a solution architect to provide guidance to these user groups.

+ Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.

+ Source, develop and apply tools to monitor, report and manage cloud services usage. Enforce standards, rules, guidelines and best practices over the use of cloud services across multiple groups.

Qualifications and Skills:

+ 7+ years of industrial experience in technical subjects in cloud computing, networking, or related technical fields.

+ 3+ years of experience in senior engineer or architect role of IT or cloud services, networking, and/or databases.

+ Hands on experience as a cloud or networking architect to guide the use or migration of systems onto a public/private/hybrid cloud infrastructure.

+ Experience as an IT engineer and IT program/project management; experience as a system administrator; experience in developing scripting tools in Python or Java.

+ Performs and coordinate many concurrent projects in a dynamic work environment with various business partners from both internal and external organizations

+ Provides internal customer support and interactions through hands-on support, with excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate technical subjects.

+ BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields. MS degree preferred.
