Accountemps is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Supervisor with a Healthcare background. If you're interested in work where you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, you will succeed in this position. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will handle 200+ invoices a week, so we are seeking candidates who are self-starters, with high attention to detail. This is a long-term temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Bellaire, Texas area.
How you will make an impact
- Maintains and implements system edits for both Epic and Med Assets.
- AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, COC, CCS-P) Not required but would prefer a Specialty Certification in either General Surgery; Cardiology; Neurology
- Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment
- Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks
- Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans
- Offer information to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders
- Compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports and take care of payments in compliance with GAAP
Requirements
- HS Diploma Required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
- Demonstrated analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Solid understanding of navigating basic office equipment and protocols
- General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred
- Efficient in ERP systems
