American Midstream Partners, LP is a growth-oriented limited partnership formed to provide critical midstream infrastructure that links producers of natural gas, crude oil, NGLs and condensate to end-use markets. American Midstream’s assets are strategically located in some of the most prolific offshore and onshore basins in the Permian, Eagle Ford, East Texas, Bakken and Gulf Coast. American Midstream owns or has an ownership interest in approximately 5,100 miles of interstate and intrastate pipelines, as well as ownership in gas processing plants, fractionation facilities, an offshore semisubmersible floating production system with nameplate processing capacity of 90 MBbl/d of crude oil and 220 MMcf/d of natural gas; and terminal sites with approximately 4.3 MMBbls of storage capacity.


Objective

This position is responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering crude oil in a tractor trailer to dedicated customer locations; delivering transportation and logistics solutions that help our customers win in their marketplace; consistently delivering the service we promise our customers.

Primary Responsibilities

Handle the loading, unloading and delivering procedures necessary to transport crude oil from well sites.
Partner with dispatch in accurately reporting the conditions of tanks, well sites, road conditions and overall environment of the field.
Safely transport crude from lease to unload stations.
Perform pre and post trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
Properly complete all daily paper work.
Maintain accurate e-logs on PeopleNet or equivalent system.
Maintaining a clean and safe driving record.
Attend monthly safety meetings.
Maintains appearance of truck and perform minor maintenance as required.

The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity. The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases.

Minimum Qualifications

2 Years of verifiable experience operating a Class A commercial motor vehicle – preferably operating tank equipment
Must be able to read, write, understand and speak the English language.
Ability to operate in adverse weather conditions, including off road.
Ability to chain up truck and trailer when on the job.
Ability to abide by all DOT rules and regulations.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, manuals and reports.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
Consistently demonstrates cooperative, team-oriented behavior.
Safety conscious and understand safe work practices for operating in the oil and gas field and on the road.
Maintain cleanliness and perform minor maintenance on equipment as well as ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order at all times and report deficiencies to maintenance staff.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Class A CDL with HazMat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples Endorsements
Must pass pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing
Must pass a criminal background check
Must have a good MVR
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, 2 in last 2 years, or 1 in the last year No more than 1 preventable/at-fault accident in the last 3 years, 2 in the last 5 years No DUI, reckless driving, hit & run, suspended licenses, etc. in the past 5 years
