Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

This role is a human resources generalist with a full range of experience in coaching, employee relations, change management, compensation, talent acquisition, and performance management. Must possess the ability to manage a broad range of tasks to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally. 

Promote and support the business and HR strategies designed to align the business departments and grow of the organization. Drive performance culture through manager coaching and effective use of metrics and tools. Ensure culture reflects mission, vision, and values through proactive employee relations and leadership coaching. Implement and execute performance management programs and procedures, including but not limited to performance appraisals and performance improvement plans. Processes payroll data and verifies reports for accuracy; submits completed payroll for production.  Manage the company's suite of benefits, vendor evaluation, annual enrolments, employee education, new hire processing, etc. Maintain detailed operating knowledge of processes, systems, and services offered by the HR team. Assist supervisors/department heads in terminations and disciplinary hearings as needed. Consult with managers and provide guidance; coach managers regarding selection, retention, associate development, performance deficiencies, counseling, disciplinary issues, termination processes, and investigations. Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. Handles workers compensation/accidents, STD, LTD, FMLA, COBRA, ACA and confidential matters. Demonstrate knowledge of Title VII, ADA and EEOC Laws to assist the Business Unit in reaching their business goals.  Other duties as needed.

 Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree & PHR certification required 4-5 years’ experience Ability to travel up to 25% at times Strong influence and change management skills Ability to counsel and coach at all levels Problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate pragmatic, win-win solutions Judgment and decision-making skills Proactive and results-oriented Ability to manage competing priorities, delivering quality work in a timely manner Performs other related duties as directed.
